Walkerton woman killed in collision in Brockton

(BROCKTON, ON) - Oct. 27, at 7:33 p.m., the South Bruce OPP, Bruce County Paramedic Services, and the Brockton Fire Department responded to a serious collision at the intersection of Bruce County Road 19 and Concession 8, in the Municipality of Brockton.

The collision involved a passenger vehicle and a commercial motor vehicle. The driver of the commercial motor vehicle, a 44-year-old Walkerton woman, was subsequently pronounced deceased. The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to hospital with injuries.

The collision continues to be investigated by the South Bruce OPP with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team.

Bruce County Road 19 is closed between Concession 10 and Concession 6 East. Concession 8 is closed between Sideroad 20 and Sideroad 10 South. Updates will be provided when available.
