Ripley-Huron skating carnival celebrates "Summer on Ice"
The Ripley-Huron Skating Club tried to bring some warmth to a cold ice surface, as the skaters presented "Summer on Ice" at the annual skating carnival, Saturday, Feb. 27.
The event featured individuals and groups, showcasing their achievements and their talented solo routines.
Among the skaters were four young ladies, Brooke Leppington, Meghan Johnson, Julia Richardson and Marley Martyn, who have skated together and been coached by Brenda Hill, for the past 16 years.
The girls presented flowers to Hill, and also gave appreciation to their mothers and their families for all the support through the years.

- Westminster Waltz - Meghan Johnson and Brooke Leppington, Marley Martyn and Julia Richardson
- Star 2 Freeskate - Haley Brough
- Star 1 Freeskate - Alexis Milner
- Surf City - Learn To Skate Group A
- Silver Interpretive - Lana Splettstoesser
