South Bruce OPP report theft, impaired driver, shoplifter; and vehicle knocks down Stop sign

POLICE LOOKING FOR STOLEN SNOWMOBILE
 

(LUCKNOW, ON) – March 6, at 1:37 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a theft at a residence along Ross Street in Lucknow. 

Sometime during the late evening of March 5, or early morning of March 6, a yellow and black 2006 Ski-Doo MXZ (right), Licence No. 958761, was taken. Serial number is on file with police. There is no estimate on the value of the stolen property at this time.
 

IMPAIRED DRIVER FACING COURT DATE
 

(CHESLEY, ON) – March 3, at 11:40 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along 1st Avenue South in Chesley, signalled a silver Kia Rios to stop, using the cruiser emergency lighting. 

The vehicle continued to a 4th Avenue Southwest driveway where it was finally stopped. Officers found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. Thirty-four-year-old Kimberly TURNER of Arran-Elderslie Township has been charged with impaired driving, operate over-80 milligrams and flight from police. She is scheduled to appear in court April 6, to answer to the charges.
 

SHOPLIFTER FACING DAY IN COURT
 

(KINCARDINE, ON) – March 3, at 3:37 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a theft at the No Frills store on Philip Place in Kincardine. 

Officers attended and identified a male suspect through investigation. A 25-year-old Kincardine man has been charged with theft under $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in court April 13, to answer to the charge.
 

VEHICLE KNOCKS DOWN STOP SIGN
 

(WALKERTON, ON) – March 1, at 12:46 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report that a Stop sign was down at the intersection of Scott Street and McNabb Street in Walkerton. 

Officers attended and found that the sign had been knocked down by a vehicle. The vehicle, a maroon Ford F150 pick-up, was located and the 17-year-old driver was charged for fail to report accident.
