Lee Brice, Dean Brody to headline the 2016 Lucknow's Music in the Fields
American country artist Lee Brice, and Canadian country music sensation Dean Brody are the headliners for the 2016 Lucknow's Music in the Fields.
The line-up was announced Tuesday (March 15) at 8 a.m., as the Lucknow and District Kinsmen Club prepares to break new ground yet again with this year's three-day country music festival, slated for Aug. 25-27 at the Lucknow Soccer Fields.
Now in its eighth year, the festival continues to grow and has become one of the region's destinations, attracting more than 8,000 people to the area for a weekend of great music.

"Our patrons follow no specific genre or generation," said marketing chairman Steve Neeb, "but they're loyal and they trust we will continue to put on a great show. Their trust has resulted in the sale of 50 per cent of our tickets without announcing a single artist."
The Friday-night line-up includes Dean Brody (L), Tebey, and The Lovelocks.
Originally from British Columbia, Brody now lives by the ocean in Nova Scotia. His just-released album, "Gypsy Road," is his most winning and original collection of songs, which is fitting for a guy already possessed of a boatload of CCMA and JUNO awards, including twin 2014 Country Album of the Year prizes for his fourth disc, "Crop Circles."
The Saturday-night line-up features Lee Brice (R), Frankie Ballard, Jason Blaine, Madeline Merlo and Jojo Mason.
Brice, originally from South Carolina, now lives in Nashville and is known as a reliable chart-topping hit-maker. His 2014 performance on the Academy of Country Music telecast, where he picked up the trophy for Song of the Year, stole the show. A singer-songwriter, he has just released his new album, "I Don't Dance," which showcases his painstaking approach to writing and recording.
Thursday's Kick-off Party line-up has yet to be announced.
