Thanks to hospital foundations for helping ensure highest quality care for patients, says Rosebush
To the Editor:
Each and every year, the South Bruce Grey Health Centre is generously supported by the hospital Foundations in each of our communities: the Chesley and District Health Services Foundation, the Durham and Community Health Care Foundation, the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, and the Walkerton and District Hospital Foundation.
As we near the end of another fiscal year, I am once again humbled by the support our hospital has received from each of these volunteer-based organizations. This year alone, between April 1, 2015, and March 31, 2016, more than $870,000 in equipment was purchased by the foundations, including essential items such as the replacement of the infusion pumps
for all of our sites.
Simply put, our hospital could not operate without the support of these foundations. We rely on their contributions, and greatly appreciate their efforts to ensure the sustainability of health care in our communities.
On behalf of the board, staff and physicians at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, I would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Chesley and District Health Services Foundation, the Durham and Community Health Care Foundation, the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, and the Walkerton and District Hospital Foundation, for ensuring that we have the best equipment available to provide the highest quality care to our patients.
Sincerely,
Paul Rosebush
President and chief executive officer
