Well, March has certainly made a statement on its upcoming exit. We, in Inverhuron, must have dodged a bullet. Thursday, there were power outages all around us, but we just got wet snow and some rain. I hope everyone is safe. Don’t worry, April is around the corner!
It looks as if plans are well under way for the new Whitney Crawford Community Center. Kincardine council is working hard at getting this project finalized. Unfortunately, the old building is too far gone to be re-furbished so the plans are to build a new one. The location is still in the works, with it being either at the Tiverton Library location or at the Tiverton Sports Arena. Wherever the municipality decides to put it, it will be great. We can’t wait to see what is planned for the community centre. Stay tuned.

Mark your calendars! The Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church Men's Group and Women's Missionary Society (WMS) will be holding a Rummage Sale, Thursday, April 14, and Friday, April 15. If you have any donations of clean clothing, linens, footwear or books, they may be brought to the church April 11-12.

If you are interested in purchasing a tree in memory of a loved one, to be planted in the Tiverton Walk of Memories this spring, contact Lion Gerda at 519-368-7792 or Lion Rosemary at 519-368-7789. The deadline to purchase a tree is April 1 and the cost is $350.
Manor Musings
Tiverton Park Manor will be again hosting a Geri’s Fashions Day April 23. Come and visit with family and friends and check out the spring fashions. This event is open to the public as well.
