Youngsters descend on Victoria Park for 9th annual Rotary Easter Egg Hunt
It was sunny but cold in Victoria Park, Kincardine, Saturday morning, as a crowd of youngsters brought their Easter baskets, bags and containers of every kind, for the 9th annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Kincardine Rotary Club.
There were plenty of colourful Easter eggs hidden in a roped-off heap of straw, and children in separate age categories, searched for the candy-filled eggs. This year, the event began with youngsters, aged 4-7, followed by aged 1-3, and then aged 8-10.
MC Ryan "the Buzzman" Berry kept the tunes rockin' throughout the event. And hot chocolate was also available, sponsored by Bean's Bistro, to help warm up people on such a chilly day.
Proceeds from the event go toward community projects.
