Heavy snowfall and high wind hit the Kincardine area Saturday night but had mostly disappeared Sunday morning.
However, by Sunday afternoon, the snow and cold were back as winter returned with a vengeance, bringing a deluge of the white stuff and colder temperatures.
The area was expected to get 10-15 centimetres of snow before tapering off Monday morning, with gusty winds producing some local blowing snow.
Snow and cold are forecast for the rest of the week and into the weekend.
