South Bruce OPP report drug charge; speeding charge

TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO DRUG CHARGE
 

(HURON TWP, ON) – April 9, at 10:34 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Highway 21 in Huron Township, stopped a black Chevrolet Monte Carlo. 

The officer found a quantity of illegal street drugs in the vehicle. A 25-year-old Kincardine man was charged with possession of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to appear in court May 11, to answer to the charge.
 

SPEEDING CHARGE ISSUED
 

(KINCARDINE, ON) – April 9, at 6:18 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a white Mercedes van speeding along Highway 21. 

Officers located the van on Bruce Avenue in Kincardine and noted it was moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle speed was displayed on radar at more than 70 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone. A 25-year-old Kitchener man was charged with speeding.
