The South Bruce OPP is challenging everyone to participate in the “Bruce County Shuffle,” a six-week activity to get us all moving in 2016.
Create a team of 10 people and join in the fun as we track your team’s success and “cyber- trek” across Bruce County. The challenge is to see which team can log the most kilometres over the six weeks. Your organization can register more than one team!
A donation of $5 per person will be required in order to participate in this challenge. All proceeds will be distributed to food banks in Southern Bruce County to support their valuable contribution to our communities.
Ten minutes of activity equals one kilometre. Activity must be continuous and can include swimming, biking, running, walking, exercising, etc.
To join this challenge, send an E-mail to stats@brucecountyshuffle.com by Friday, April 29. We will send you a registration and information package to be completed. The contest runs May 15 to June 29.
An awards ceremony and bragging rights barbecue will be held to acknowledge the Grand Prize winning team!
