THEFT FROM WIND TURBINE SITE
(KINCARDINE TWP, ON) – April 18, at 10:24 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a theft from a wind turbine site in the 800 block of Bervie Sideroad, Kincardine Township.
Sometime between 1 p.m. March 8, and 10 a.m. April 18, two turbine sites were forcibly entered. The list of stolen property includes lengths of bare two-gauge copper wire, lengths of bare four-gauge copper wire and some insulated 500 kc-mil wire. The value of the stolen property is estimated to be more than $2,000.
IMPAIRED DRIVER LOSES CONTROL
(CULROSS TWP, ON) – April 17, at 12:45 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a single-vehicle crash along Bruce County Road 6 in Culross Township.
Officers arrived to find that a red Chevrolet GM4 had rolled over before coming to rest in the ditch. The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol. Fifty-seven-year-old Alexander HENRY of Culross Township was charged with operate over-80 milligrams and careless driving. He is scheduled to appear in court May 18, to answer to the charges. There were minor injuries reported at the scene.
