Congratulations to all the folks who worked hard to host the Lucknow Yard Sale on the weekend. The sunshine was an added bonus.
Sam and Heather Finnie hosted Andrea Ali, along with Spencer, Brandon and Joseph Finnie. They all came up from Etobicoke for the weekend to help with some tree-planting and spring yard work. They also visited with Irene Boyle at Brucelea Haven in Walkerton.
Congratulations to the folks who put on the meal at Kinloss, Sunday. It was a great fund-raiser for the Haiti Missions trip. The response was good to see.
Nancy and Paul Greenwood of Goderich visited with June Elliott, Joyce and John Farrell for Sunday Lunch. June enjoyed an evening of singing with members of the Cedarvale congregation at her residence.

MaryBeth Kerr and Cheryl Bridge were among the folks from our area who enjoyed the HAWK Theatre presentation of "Sex Please, Were Sixty."
Xavier and Zarian Zuk of Walkerton spent the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Rhody.
Saturday was a great day for the 4-H Conservation Club and PRWIN. They were planting trees. Sunday, they had a good day on road clean-up. They collected garbage from the ditches along five miles of road. Thanks to the leaders. Anne MacInnes, Amy Hiscock and Steve Hallam, for organizing this club.
The District 8 Horticultural annual general meeting was held in Holmesville, Saturday. Ann Finlayson, Fran Farrell and Sandra MacDonald attended from the Ripley Horticultural Society. Guest speaker Roland Craig told of his experiences as an international judge in England. Information was provided by Vicki Culbert about the Maple Leaves Forever program. This program supports the planting of native maple trees.
Visiting with Fran and Jim Farrell, Thursday, were Desiree, Scott and Jade Aitken of Sturgeon Falls. They also visited with Grandma Eletta Aitken at RVilla. Sunday, Fran and Jim travelled to Nairn to celebrate the birthdays of Susan and Peter Roberts. Many family and friends also attended.
