Canada Goose found nesting in hollow tree near Bervie
This was definitely not a wild goose chase.
A Canada Goose has been discovered nesting in a hollow tree located in a farmer's field, east of Bervie.
The goose is situated fairly high off the ground and did not take kindly to having its photo taken. It suffered in silence for a few minutes before taking flight and then heading toward the nearby stream, honking all the way.
Canada Geese usually lay their eggs in a soft, grassy area near water, and the eggs take about a month to hatch.
