Achievements celebrated at Kincardine Guiding Advancement

The Kincardine Sparks, Brownies, Guides and Pathfinders celebrated their achievements at the Advancement Ceremony held Wednesday night, May 25, at Kincardine United Church.

First-year girls in Sparks and Brownies received badges, crests and pins, while the second-year girls advanced to Brownies and Guides.

Meanwhile, the first- and second-year Guides and Pathfinders received badges, crests and pins, while the third-year girls advanced to Pathfinders and Rangers.

The ceremony included the singing of "O Canada," introductions, each unit's opening, description of the program, and presentations, followed by campfire, closings, and refreshments.

Those moving up to Brownies in the fall, are Cali Forrester, Jayde King, Kendra Newton, Gabriella Wilsack, Ashlyn Holroyd, Mya Millard, Dorothy Trudeau and Bella Woods.

Moving up to Guides in the fall, are Alayna Middelkamp and Ashlyn Moseley.

And moving up to Pathfinders, are Raelynn Rouleau and Katie Jacobs, who also received their Lady Baden Powell awards, the highest award presented at the Guide level.

Pathfinders Lucy Thorpe and Emily Killin have completed their program, and received their Canada Cords, the highest award in Guiding.
