Family, friends searching for lost dog

"Violet" is lost and her family and friends hope someone may have seen her.

The five-month-old German Shepherd-Labrador-Golden Retriever mix has been missing since Saturday morning. She either got off the property or was taken. Her owner lives in the Sutton Street-Broadway area, near No Frills, in Kincardine.

Flyers have been posted, vet clinics checked, and animal control, as well as Facebook, but to no avail. There have been no sightings of the dog.

"Violet" belongs to the familiy's nine-year-old son who is devastated by her loss.
