Kincardine Sunset Quilters' Guild has another successful year of donations
The Kincardine Sunset Quilters' Guild has completed another successful year, with the following donations made for 2015-16 season:
- Three quilts for the Eleanor Laverock family - in appreciation for their donation of their mother's total sewing room supplies
- Thirty Alzheimer touch quilts: 20 to Trillium Court, five to RVilla in Ripley, and five remain with the guild
- 120 sewing bags for Haiti and knitted dolls and bears (60 bags were completely filled with sewing supplies)
- Twenty-three Christmas placemats and three Christmas table toppers for Community Living of Kincardine and District
88 Quilts:
- One to Chepstow for cancer patient
- Twelve to the Food Bank
- Twenty-nine to Kitchener Linus Chapter and six receiving blankets
- Thirty to Fort McMurray
- Sixteen remain with the guild
