Kincardine Lions donate to KDSS sports teams

Kincardine Lions donate to KDSS sports teams

The Kincardine and District Lions Club has donated more than $1,200 to three Kincardine District Secondary School sports teams. The presentations were made Thursday, June 16, in the school gymnasium.

The club donated $730 to the senior boys volleyball team to purchase a new set of jerseys, to be kept at the school.

The club presented $250 to the girls basketball team, in appreciation of the girls' assistance with the Lions roadside clean-up, held May 7.

And the club donated $250 to the boys hockey team, to assist with its recent trip to Europe.
