Police investigating theft of copper wire in Bruce Township

(BRUCE TWP, ON) – June 27, at 3:06 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a theft at a windmill site in the 1700 block of Sideroad 15 in Bruce Township. 

Sometime between June 17 and June 27, lengths of copper wire were removed from the site.
 

These copper wires were used as ground wires and their removal left a potential electrical hazard which has since been repaired.
 

Suspicious vehicles and suspicious people should be reported to police as soon as possible so that an officer can investigate.
