Good crowd braves cold, windy night for Santa Claus Parade in Kincardine

Despite the cold, windy night, a good crowd turned out for the Santa Claus Parade in Kincardine, Saturday night.

People lined Queen Street in downtown Kincardine for the event which featured numerous floats based on the theme "Hockeyville," and several other groups, organizations, businesses and more.

And, of course, wrapping up the parade was the Jolly Old Elf, himself, who then greeted children in the Scougall Gallery at the Kincardine Arts Centre.

Meanwhile, in Victoria Park, there was a stable of live animals, including llamas, sheep, cattle and goats, and costumed characters from the Christmas Story, as well as refreshments.

This event was organized by Chalmers Community Church, Harbour Church and Kincardine Baptist Church.
