Watering gravel isn't a very effective way of conserving water, says reader

To the Editor:
RE: "Kincardine water users reminded Stage 1 restrictions in effect"

So, if this is the case, why is the irrigation system on at the soccer fields on Bruce Avenue almost every day? 

When I drive by there every morning, the sprinkler heads are usually watering the parking lot.

I think someone needs to go adjust the spray of the heads. Watering gravel isn't a very effective way of conserving water.
