New artwork on display, in support of Kincardine hospital auxiliary

The next print in the Kincardine hospital auxiliary's Art Easel Fund-raising Program is entitled “Catillac," above with Judy Lackner, first vice-president of the auxiliary.

The original artwork was created by Dean Russo, a Brooklyn-based artist. His body of work reflects his passion for animals and animal rights.

His playful use of abstract patterns and vibrant colours give his subjects personality and a sense of identity.

Russo is very dedicated to raising awareness about animal rescue, and has participated in several charity auctions and fund-raising events to support the cause.
 

The starting bid on this print, a great, colourful picture for cat lovers, is $200 - on display in the lobby at the Kincardine hospital, from July 11- 25. A portion of the proceeds goes toward the Kincardine hospital auxiliary.
