Folks from the area enjoyed the Parkinson’s Support Group picnic at the lake, Tuesday.
Thanks to the Ripley Firefighters for a great breakfast Saturday morning.
Our sympathy is extended to Erlma Jean Haldenby and her family, on the death of her brother, Wayne. His graveside service was held Sunday at Greenhill Cemetery in Lucknow.
Erlma, her sister, Sandra Munro, and son, Joe, of Winnipeg visited with Mary Anne Kukoly, Thursday.
The Farrell and MacDonald families were together July 9 in Oshawa to celebrate the marriage of Sarah Farrell and Todd Coe. Many stayed over to visit in the area. Jim and Fran visited with Jamie and Sandra and Jet Alexander at Trenton, returning home Monday.
Recent visitors with Jim and Fran Farrell, were Bruce and Kathy Aitken, Jessica and Evelyn Thomas of Stratford, Jennifer Logtenberg of Whitehorse, Yukon; Simon and Jan Logtenberg, and Jamie and Crystal and Danica Farrell.
Jim and Fran also visited with Joyce and John Farrell, Sunday.
Deanna and Morley Scott attended the Doupe reunion Saturday, and on Sunday, attended the Blue family reunion at the Bradley Community Center near Paisley.
Many people enjoyed fine weather at the Bruce Power Beach Party in Port Elgin, Saturday. Mandy Zuk and family, and Marianne Rhody and family, attended and found the fireworks to be amazing.
Wayne and Janet Rhody, Michelle and friend, Jason Brown, Marianne Rhody and family, also attended a potluck gathering at Opal Dore's Saturday. Much fun was had by all.
Oliver and friend, Cody, are visiting grandparents Janet and Wayne for the week.
Thanks to Allan and Lucy Miller for hosting a pig roast and some great musical entertainment and visiting, at Purple Grove, Saturday evening.
