Warm greetings from the Tiverton Agricultural Society!
Our heartfelt thanks go out to last year’s executive who faithfully served us so well.
Our new executive took office in January. They are: president Tom Evans, 1st vice-president Anne Marie Gomes, 2nd vice-president Glen Taylor, secretary Dianne Todd, treasurer Audel Tuft, and directors Karen Ribey, Glen Taylor, Anne Marie Gomes, Linda Scott, Karen McMann, Brian Todd, Larry Munro, Deb Marcinowski, Tom Evans, Rick Lehman, Mary Lehman, Diane Atkinson.
Plans are well under way for the 2015 Fall Fair. This year’s theme is “Sow It, Grow It, Show It”.
Tiverton’s Winterfest is Feb. 7-8. The agricultural society is hosting a Euchre Tournament at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre, Feb. 7 at 1:30 p.m. Luncheon will be served. Admission $4. On Sunday, Feb. 8, entertainment will be featured at the same location from 2-5 p.m. – $5. A delicious ham and scalloped potato supper, including homemade pies, will follow at 5 p.m. - $ 12.00. This event is licensed. Come for both entertainment and supper, and the price is $15. Everyone is welcome.
Our fall fair ambassador, Kerri Rice, and three other delegates will be travelling to District 10’s Convention in Toronto, Feb. 19-21.
The next regular meeting of the Tiverton Agricultural Society is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 17. Everyone is welcome.
