Sundown Theatre's production of "Tuesdays and Sundays" travels to Buffalo
Last August, Sundown Theatre presented the play, "Tuesdays and Sundays," at the historic Town Centre Market barn in Kincardine’s downtown.

Described by the New York Sun as: “An insightful, moving, and rather marvellous tale,” the play is an award-winning, Canadian masterpiece.

This year, the piece will be reprised for a special presentation as part of the 2016 Buffalo Infringement Festival, and will be staged on the sweeping grounds of Kleinhans Music Hall, says artistic director Mariel Marshall. This outdoor theatre production will intersect the genres of poetry, theatre and dance, while making creative use of the architecture and landscape of the Kleinhans Music Hall.

"Sundown Theatre is thrilled that the production will have a second chance to reach new audiences, and is excited to take advantage of the unique architecture and water feature at Kleinhans Music Hall," says Marshall. "Much of the story of 'Tuesdays and Sundays,' takes place along a river, so the large water feature which surrounds Kleinhan’s will be a unique opportunity for staging."

In addition to the Buffalo festival, Sundown Theatre continues to develop its new production, "The Tartan Lady," based on the tale of a haunted portrait. The new project will have a showcase presentation at the Walker House in October, and the company plans to return with a full production in August of 2017.
