Old Clarke Church on 12th of Huron Township, demolished

A demolition company from Brussels, arrived Thursday morning, to tear down the old, abandoned Clarke Church, on the 12th Concession of Huron-Kinloss (former Huron Township).

Located about four miles east of Highway 21, the church building was half-gone by 9:30 a.m., when the crew halted the wrecking ball and began salvaging the bricks.

The church was a landmark at the former Clarke's Corners.
