"Stormy Weather" is next print in Kincardine hospital auxiliary fund-raiser

“Stormy Weather” by F. Varley (above and at right) is the next print in the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine hospital auxiliary's Art/Easel Program fund-raiser.
 

Varley came to Canada from England, and in 1920, he became one of the founding members of the now world-famous 'Group of Seven.'

He is known for painting landscapes, and chose to paint Canadian wilderness that had been damaged by fire or harsh climates.

The starting bid for this print is $200; it is on display at the Kincardine hospital until Sept. 5.
