The Abrams rock the Thursday Night Throwdown at Lucknow's Music in the Fields

Two brothers from Kingston rocked the side stage during the Thursday Night Throwdown, the opening event of Lucknow's Music in the Fields, last night.

John and James Abrams and their band, known as The Abrams, took the crowd by storm with their high-energy performance and amazing talent as musicians and singers.

James is incredible on the fiddle, nearly sawing it in half as he races to the finish on the final tune. John is equally talented on guitar. And both exploded on stage, never lagging through the entire show, despite the hot, hazy, foggy evening.

Near the end of the show, they paid tribute to Gord Downie and the Tragically Hip, with a beautiful rendition of "Ahead By A Century."

The Abrams were a major hit Thursday night as the crowd encouraged them to play song after song, until they finally left the stage in order to meet with fans and sign autographs.

Also entertaining the crowd Thursday night, was DJ Bugleboy.

Lucknow's Music in the Fields continues Friday and Saturday,

Friday night's headliner is Dean Brody, along with Tebey and The Lovelocks.

Saturday night's headliner is Lee Brice, along with Frankie Ballard, Jason Blaine, Madeline Merlo and Jojo Mason.
