CORRECTION! The wording at the top of the petition that was circulated in and around the Inverhuron area read, "Are you in favour of Victoria Street/Upper Lorne Beach Road gate opened to traffic 'ONLY' when #21 Highway is closed." The word ONLY is the key word, which made a huge difference to the 255 people who signed, showing their concern for the safety of the general public. This request was put forward to Kincardine council as a safer route during inclement weather than the stretch of road between the Lorne Beach turn-off and Bruce County Road 15, giving people a second choice.

Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church:
Soup Luncheon - Monday, Feb. 16, at noon at the Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church, hosted by the Men's Group . Donations at the door.

Valentine's Day Tea - Saturday, Feb. 14, from 1:30-3:30 p.m., at the Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church, hosted by the Knox Youth Group. Cost is by donation

Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper - Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 5-6:30 p.m., at the Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church. Come out and enjoy some homemade pancakes and sausage with real maple syrup, hosted by the Knox Youth Group. Donations at the door.
