Bervie Women's Institute tours Kincardine Fish Hatchery

The Bervie Women’s Institute had an interesting and informative tour of the Kincardine Fish Hatchery, Wednesday, beginning at 10 a.m.

Local anglers appreciate this excellent facility, operated by volunteers with the Lake Huron Fishing Club, for restocking the fish in the area.

We then met at Bean's Bistro in downtown Kincardine, for a short meeting. Everyone answered the Roll Call with a fish story or memory.

It was agreed that $200 will be donated to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation and $25 to the Kincardine Fish Hatchery. Several members will attend the Grey Bruce Area Convention, Oct. 6, in Keady.

Our next meeting will start at the home of Diane Wilson at 10 a.m., Oct. 5, followed by a tour of the Pine River Cheese Factory.
