Kincardine-based CRG Group Canada makes list of fastest-growing companies in Canada
Kincardine-based CRG Group Canada, operated by entrepreneurs Sébastien and Kristy Garneau (above), has been ranked No. 43 on the 28th annual PROFIT 500, the definitive ranking of Canada's fastest-growing companies. The company ranked No. 2 in the Human Resources Industry.

Published in the October issue of Canadian Business and at PROFITguide.com, the PROFIT 500 ranks Canadian businesses by their five-year revenue growth.

CRG Group Canada, a workforce management solutions company, providing staff augmentation, pass-through payroll and nuclear training services, made the 2016 PROFIT 500 list with a five-year revenue growth of 1,850 per cent, generating revenues of more than $18-million in 2015.

“Companies become a part of the PROFIT 500 through innovative thinking, smart strategy and sheer grit,” said James Cowan, editor-in-chief of PROFIT and Canadian Business. “These firms demonstrate what Canadian entrepreneurs can achieve, both at home and across the globe.”

"Being included as part of the PROFIT 500 is particularly gratifying, as it represents the highest tier of entrepreneurialism in Canada," said Sébastien Garneau, president and founder of CRG Group Canada. "We could not have achieved this recognition without the amazing dedication and commitment of our clients and team.

"This award not only acknowledges the dedication our company makes to achieve the highest standards of our workforce
management solutions, staff augmentation, pass-through payroll solutions and nuclear training services for our clients, but it also affirms the amazing collaborative effort of our most important asset: our people.”

The Garneaus are active members of their community. As a former Junior A hockey player in Canada and the United States, Sébastien continues his passion for team sports by sponsoring local Kincardine Minor Hockey teams, the Kincardine District Secondary School boys hockey team on its trip to Europe, as well as local players on the AAA Grey Bruce Highlanders and the Saugeen Maitland Lightning hockey teams.

The Garneaus also recently celebrated the second anniversary of their corporate daycare centre in Kincardine, Little Beginnings Daycare and Learning Centre. They built the facility from scratch in an old grocery store building in downtown Kincardine when they learned of the need for more daycare spaces in the community.

Founded in 2009, CRG Group has become a significant provider of workforce management solutions, staff augmentation, pass-through payroll and nuclear training services in Canada. In just seven years, the company has developed successful brands in four verticals: nuclear, mining, health care and information technology.

CRG Energy Projects has become a major player in the CRG Group of companies, due to the aging workforce and rapid growth within the nuclear industry. Specializing in staff augmentation, pass-through payroll and training in the nuclear industry, CRG Energy was recently formally recognized as a key partner in the $12-billion Darlington Refurbishment Project. CRG Energy can be explored at Ontario Power Generation (OPG)'s refurbpartners.com.
