Open house at Rvilla in Ripley Oct. 14

An open house is being held Friday, Oct. 14, from 2-4 p.m., at RVilla Retirement Living in Ripley.

Located at 22 Park Street, the 53-room retirement home is owned by Gary and Anita Rutledge who opened it in 1998. It is now managed by Universal Care.

Once a year, the owners and staff open the doors to the community and offer a social time for the residents. There are tours of the facility which offers a variety of rooms, including studios and suites. Short-stays are welcome. Currently, there are studio rooms and one bedroom suite available.

The Rutledges' daughter, Serena, will be singing during the open house.

RVilla provides round-the-clock care, including three meals per day plus snacks, administration of medication and a variety of recreation programs. Staff is also available to assist when needed.

Stay four months and get the fifth month free.
