Kindergarten registration begins for children who start school next September

Do you have a child, or know a child, who will be starting Kindergarten next September?

 

Let's Learn Kindergarten registration in Bruce-Grey has begun for children who will start school in September, 2017. Families of children born in 2013 (Year 1, formerly Junior Kindergarten) and children born in 2012 (Year 2, formerly Senior Kindergarten) are encouraged to register now.

 

Early registration gives you time to learn what you can do to help your child get ready for school. At Let's Learn, you and your child will meet school staff and learn about community resources in your area. Service providers will be on-site to answer questions about your child's growth and development.

 

Fifty schools in Grey and Bruce counties will hold registrations at 44 school sites.

Locally, Kindergarten registration will be held at Ripley-Huron Community School, Thursday, Oct. 13, from 2:30-5 p.m.; at St. Anthony's School in Kincardine, Thursday, Oct. 20, from 3-7 p.m.; and at Kincardine Township-Tiverton Public School, Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
