South Bruce OPP report alcohol charge; and two-vehicle crash

OPEN LIQUOR TICKET SERVED AT RIDE

(BRANT TWP, ON) – Dec. 7, at 2:38 p.m., members of the South Bruce OPP were conducting RIDE check on Concession 8 in Brant Township, when a grey Toyota Yaris was stopped.  

Officers found open alcohol in the vehicle. The driver, a 30-year-old West Grey Township woman, was charged with open liquor other than residence.

POLICE INVESTIGATING TWO-VEHICLE CRASH

(BRANT TWP, ON) – Dec. 5, at 4:49 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a two-vehicle crash on Bruce Road 2 in Brant Township.  

Officers attended with members of the Walkerton Fire Department and Bruce County EMS to find that a westbound white GMC Sierra pick-up truck collided with an eastbound black Ford Explorer.

The driver of the Explorer was air-lifted to a London hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The occupants of the pick-up were both transported to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is in its early stages. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call the South Bruce OPP.
