Halloween parties, fancy costumes, decorations and fun

Halloween is officially tonight (Oct. 31), but there were a lot of Halloween parties this past week, featuring many fancy costumes, fun and games, decorations and more.

The Kincardine Sparks and Brownies held their party Tuesday night at Kincardine Baptist Church, and enjoyed baking cookies and decorating them, and playing games.

The Kincardine Guides and Pathfinders also made cookies and decorated them, played games and made crafts.

Bev Yundt of Kincardine brought her nine-month-old grandson, Hank Willis, of Port Elgin, to Trillium Court, Kincardine, Oct. 21, to see his great-grandparents, Eldon and Norma Yundt. Eldon lives at Trillium Court, while Norma lives in Walkerton.

On the weekend, there were numerous events, including the Spooktacular Halloween Party at St. Anthony's, Shiverton in Tiverton, and the Halloween Dance at the Kincardine Legion.

Many houses are now draped in scary decorations in anticipation of the trick-or-treaters who will be out in full force tonight.
