Waterloo woman identified as victim of crash east of Bluevale

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY TWP, ON) – Eugenia KOSZYCKI, 67, of Waterloo has been identified as the woman killed in a single-vehicle crash on Amberley Road, east of Bluevale, Sunday evening.

Huron County OPP said the woman was driving a Honda Fit westbound on Amberley Road, east of Bluevale, when the vehicle left the roadway, entered a ditch, and struck the attached garage of a residence located on the south side of the road. The woman, the lone occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. No injuries were sustained to anyone at the residence.

OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigators were deployed to the scene and assisted with the investigation.
Amberley Road was closed, from Harriston Road to Ramsey Line, until about 11:30 p.m., Sunday.

The Huron County OPP is requesting anyone who may have observed the vehicle involved in the collision (a grey-coloured Honda Fit), just prior to the collision, to contact them.  If you have any other information, you are requested to contact the Huron County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
