South Bruce OPP report wanted man; thefts; and break-in

SOUTH BRUCE OPP SEEKING WANTED MAN

(SOUTHERN BRUCE COUNTY, ON) - Members of the South Bruce OPP and the South Bruce OPP Crime Unit are attempting to locate a wanted man.

Twenty-four-year-old Shawn OEHRING (right) of Hanover is described as a white male, 5’ 7” tall, weighing 140 pounds, with light brown wavy hair and brown eyes. He is currently wanted for assault with a weapon, two counts of theft, possess break-in instruments, two counts of fail to comply with recognizance, and possess a controlled substance.

Investigators would like anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to contact the OPP immediately by dialing 911 or the nearest police authority. No attempt should be made to apprehend him.

POLICE LOOKING FOR STOLEN TRUCK

(BRANT TWP, ON) – Nov. 22, at 9:19 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a theft at Heinz Auto Body located along Bruce County Road 10 in Brant Township. 

Between 8:50-9:10 a.m. Nov. 22, a white Silverado pick-up truck, with Licence No. 238 0MH, was taken. There is no estimate on the value of the stolen truck available at this time.

POLICE LOOKING FOR STOLEN DIRT BIKE

(KINCARDINE TWP, ON) – Nov. 21, at 10:31 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a theft at a residence in the 800 block of Concession 7 in Kincardine Township. 

Sometime between 11 p.m. Nov. 20 and 7 a.m. Nov. 21, a Honda CR85 dirt bike, bearing the number 199, was taken. The value of the stolen dirt bike is estimated to be $1,200.

POLICE INVESTIGATING BREAK-IN

(KINCARDINE, ON) – Nov. 21, at 8:06 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a break, enter and theft at the Sunrise Grill located along Queen Street in Kincardine. 

Sometime between 3 p.m. Nov. 20, and 8 a.m. Nov. 21, the business was forcibly entered and a quantity of pop was taken. The value of the stolen property is estimated to be $70.
