Theatre guild opens Kincardine council meeting with song of Christmas cheer

The Kincardine Theatre Guild brought a song of Christmas cheer to open the Kincardine council meeting last night (Dec. 7).

The Sing-O-Gram, commissioned by councillor Laura Haight, touched on several major issues from the council table over the past year, from budget time and Bruce Telecom, to the tennis club and the ever-popular reminder that Phase 3 of the renovations at the Kincardine Arts Centre would be a real bargain!

Despite the cheery beginning, the meeting dragged on for more than two-and-a-half hours and councillors managed to get bogged down on items that required little, if any, discussion or debate.

(And this is not just jargon
