Kincardine hit with first real dose of winter

After an unbelievably mild and sunny autumn, the Kincardine area got its first dose of winter Thursday morning as snow and high wind made for some treacherous driving conditions, and the bitter cold woke people up to the change in season.

The blowing and drifting snow, and snow squalls, are expected to continue through Friday and into the weekend.

Time for winter coats, boots, hats, mitts, scarves, and a snowbrush!
