Warm, foggy Boxing Day, then winter returns
After a fierce blast of winter, the Kincardine area enjoyed warmer weather over Christmas, with a balmy, foggy Boxing Day.
The change in temperature created a bit of fog, as the warm air hit the drifts of snow. The melting snow and a heavy rain caused extensive flooding in the fields and beside waterways.
But by Tuesday, it was back to the cold, snow and wind, as winter weather returned. The forecast is for more of the same right through to New Year's Day.
