Another layer of heavy snow covers Kincardine area in time for New Year's Eve
Kincardine area residents were busy Saturday morning, digging out from under an extensive amount of snowfall overnight.

While the temperature was warm at about zero Celsius, the snow continued through the day and began to turn to rain by the evening.

The heavy, wet snow was a treat for youngsters who had fun building snowmen and forts, and tobogganing. In fact, there was a huge snowman seen on McLeod Avenue, Kincardine, built by AJ and Brendon Senicar, Rae and Andrew Robertson, and Anissa Zacharczuk.

However, the snow was not much fun for those trying to clear driveways and vehicles.

The forecast for New Year's Day is sunny and warmer, followed by a couple of rainy days before Old Man Winter returns.
