Youth enjoy crafts, games, Bible stories at New Year Adventure Camp
About 30 youth, aged four to 10, are enjoying a week of crafts, games, and Bible stories at the New Year Adventure Camp, running Tuesday to Friday, 9 a.m. to Noon, at Kincardine Baptist Church.
Each morning begins with a gathering of the youngsters, leaders and helpers, in the sanctuary for songs and the day's memory verse. The youth are then divided into groups to play games, do crafts, learn the memory verse, listen to Bible stories, and enjoy some play time outside. Each session ends with a closing in the sanctuary.
The camp runs until Friday when there will be a performance by the youth for parents, family and friends, at 11:30 a.m., at the church, followed by refreshments.
