Theatre guild members go to great lengths to entertain, and to help others

Kincardine Theatre Guild members often go to great lengths to entertain their audience, and to help out others.
For the fall production of "Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat,"
Steve McGibney (at right), who played one of Joseph's brothers, Simeon, spent more than two-and-a-half years growing out his hair and beard to play the character.
Dec. 3, he had his beard shaved off, and Dec. 6, he had his hair cut by Karen Alexander at InStyle in downtown Kincardine - what a change!
McGibney had nine inches of hair cut off, and is sending it to Pantene which makes wigs for women undergoing chemotherapy.
Jared Petrie (below), who played Judah, another of Joseph's brothers, in the play, had his curly locks cut off the same day as McGibney.
