Communications system upgraded at Hawthorne Community Clinic, Kincardine
The Kincardine Physicians Group is advising the public that the communications system at the Hawthorne Community Clinic in Kincardine has been upgraded, in order to mitigate problems with congestion and concerns that patients are unable to contact their physician's office.
Prior to the transition, your call generally would have been answered by the respective practitioner’s administrative staff. This remains the same; however, now when you contact the clinic, your call will be answered by a recorded auto-attendant, advising of office hours and important information that you may need to know.
Following the recorded message, your call will be placed in sequence and answered by administrative staff.
The transition to the new system is to increase overall efficiency while being able to offer a system that aligns with providing a better patient-centred experience.
When contacting the clinic, please take the time to listen to the recorded information to assist in better guiding your queries.
The physicians' group appreciates your patience and understanding as it continues to review and adapt the system's capacity to better serve the patients and the community.
