Purple Grove news

A very Happy Easter to all on a beautiful weekend. The community Good Friday Service, held at Knox Presbyterian Church, was well-received and well-attended. Also appreciated, was the  presentation at the Kingsbridge Centre – A Journey to Easter - Good Friday evening. 
 
The sympathy of the community is extended to the families of Lynn Reid and Margaret Bannerman Slesser (Walsh) of Kincardine. 
 
Congratulations to the Ripley Business Community which hosted an Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday morning in Lewis Park.  The children sure had a good time!

Congratulations also to Don MacTavish who celebrated his 90th birthday this weekend with family and friends at the complex!
 
John and Joyce Farrell visited with Lenard Farrell, Thursday afternoon. 

The family of John and Joyce Farrell - Teresa and David Becker and sons, Tobi and David Droppert and family, Jenn and Jer Nahwegahbow and family, Mary Anne Kukoly of Ripley, and Lucy Hesse of Brussels - celebrated Easter together, Sunday. 
 
The Farrell granddaughters and their mothers visited with Jim and Fran Farrell, Tuesday and Wednesday last week, and everyone celebrated Easter together, Sunday.

Jim and Fran and Ken and Agnes Logtenberg, Neil and Alexis, did some yard work and had supper together with Lillian Logtenberg, Saturday evening.

Happy Birthday to Rob Farrell, Sunday. Rob and Carolyn and Julia, Mariah and friend, Emily, were at the cottage for Easter weekend. 
 
And Happy Birthday to Andrew MacDonald, Saturday.

Doug and Shirley MacDonald; Marilyn Glanville; Marilyn’s sister, Debbie of Barrier, B.C.; Meg, Fred and Arik; Diane and Andrew and Alex, were together at the home of Andrew and Diane, for supper Saturday evening.
