Bargain-hunters descend on Tiverton Lions Garage Sale
A large crowd of bargain-hunters descended on the Tiverton Lions Garage Sale, Friday night, May 12.

It was all Tiverton Lion Edna McTeer could do to hang onto the rope that controlled the mob before 6 p.m. struck, and she pulled back the rope, letting the seething mass of shoppers loose in the annex of the Whitney Crawford Community Centre.

Prior to the doors opening, the Tiverton Lions held a barbecue with a good turn-out. The sale continued Saturday, May 13, wit plenty of deals to be had.
