Sexy Beaches wins the competitive division at Bulldogs beach volleyball tournament

The Kincardine Bulldogs held another successful indoor beach volleyball tournament at the Davidson Centre, Kincardine, the first weekend in May.

Wednesday night, the local recreation league tournament saw the Campfires win the championship with the Redwoods taking the consolation side.

Thursday night, was the business division. Canadian Tire took bragging rights in the championship side, with The Co-operators taking the consolation prize. St. Anthony’s A took the Wanna B’s prize.



In competitive action, the Sexy Beaches (above) captured the championship side against Spice of Life.



In Recreational A, Pass & Hitties (above) won the championship side over Addicted to Fake Sets. The consolation winners were How I Set Your Mother (below).



In Recreational B, the team with the longest name in the tournament, You Know It’s All About The Face (below), bested Super Spikes. Consolation side winners were Nets Worth over One Hit Wonders.



With a huge cast of teams in Recreational C, the championship winners were Beer Pressure over Beaches Please. For consolation, Who Gives a Hit outlasted We Always Get It Up. With so many entries in this division, other category winners were Alcoballics and Let’s Talk About Sets.

Other winners over the past week include the students from participating area schools and the Kincardine Air Cadets, all of whom got to enjoy the flavour of indoor sand volleyball. A new addition this year was the Youth Waves Volleyball Tournament held on the Sunday.
