Agricultural Society

The Tiverton Agricultural Society is looking for a volunteer to run the Poultry Division at the Tiverton Fall Fair in October. If you are interested or need more information, please contact Dianne at 519-368-7114.

Lions Club

The Tiverton Lions annual rummage sale was again a big success. There were so many great finds and I, myself, loaded up. Thanks to all the people who donated their unused goods, and to the hard-working Lions for another great year. Can’t wait for next year's sale.

Library News

Looking to join a book club? Our club this month is discussing "The Other Side of The Bridge" by Mary Lawson. Stop by the library for the book and join the club every second Thursday of the month at 2 p.m.

Manor Musings

Tiverton Park Manor had its annual version of the Kentucky Derby. The owners of the horses came out in their finest hats and the results are in:

Taking first place was Ira Berndt with her horse "Aiken Joints," followed by "Dead Last," "Fart in a Windstorm," "Glue Foot," "Hoof Hearted," "Lickety Split," "Passing Wind," "Stripes," "Thunder Butt" and finally, "Zehorse."
