The March meeting of the Purple Grove Women's Institute was held at Mary Anne Kukoly's home.

All who were able to attend appreciated the presentation by Cindy Cartwright of Southampton. She spoke about her passion for hummingbirds, research and banding. Cindy's powerpoint presentation was so interesting.
 

Maureen Collins read the Scripture. The roll call was answered by an interesting fact about hummingbirds. Convener Deanna Scott led us in some Irish songs and closed her portion of the meeting with the Irish Blessing.
 

We all enjoyed the lunch provided by Janet Nixon and Donna Swan. The hummingbird cake was a great hit.
 

The meeting closed with the singing of "O Canada."
