Gutsy Walk yard sale in Ripley raises more than $2,200
Victoria Day weekend brought beautiful weather and, of course, a plethora of yard sales.
Among those was the huge one in Ripley, hosted by the Lotton family, in support of Team "It's All Gone to Shitz" which is walking in the Gutsy Walk, June 4, in Walkerton, raising money for Crohn's and Colitis Canada.
Thanks to the donations of items and the generosity of the community, the Gutsy Walk yard sale raised $2,267.26!
The Ripley village-wide yard sale also featured a book sale at the Ripley Legion, and the horticultural society's plant sale at the gazebo in Lewis Park.
Meanwhile, in Kincardine, Gordon Pharmasave and Accents by Gordon's held a large yard sale in the parking lot east of the store.
