J'Adorn owner to close Hanover store, re-focus on boutique in downtown Kincardine
The J’Adorn store in Hanover will close at the end of June, but the original location in downtown Kincardine will remain open.
That's the word from owner/operator Corinne Robertson-Brown.
“We opened the second location of our boutique in March of 2015, and have really enjoyed a warm welcome from the people in Hanover,” she said. "We are sad to have to close there, but find it necessary to re-focus our efforts back on our original location.”
The gift, décor and home furnishings shop offers items from around the world and also teaches Annie Sloan Chalk Paint workshops.
“We love the workshop space we have in Hanover, and we will definitely miss having that asset," said Robertson-Brown. "We will also miss seeing everyone from Hanover coming in, but hope they will make that drive down Highway 9 and visit us in our Kincardine shop sometime.”
The decision was based on a number of factors, she said, but ultimately, “We were becoming increasingly stretched too thin, and needed to decide how to get more balance in our lives.”
J’Adorn is holding a Location Closing sale at the Hanover store. “It’s like the old saying, ‘We’d rather sell it than move it'," said Robertson-Brown.
The last day the store will be open for business is Saturday, June 24.
